Whenever I open the game the ''tap to play'' option does not appear. What should I do?

Subway Surfers does not have a tap to play option. Just touch the screen and the game will start automatically. The character will drop the graffiti job and start running. Also, the options for the game are located in the upper-right portion of the screen.
